I modified the original project by including a piece of cardstock paper in between my cutouts, and using a collage instead of just two photos. I also covered the cutouts with clear masking tape and added a band to hold it shut.

UPDATE
I showed mine off when I was out tonight and got tons of compliments on it, and 5 of my friends have asked for one. I made two more last night, and I'll put more pictures up soon.
