who knew you can make some cute and unique earrings from some old car fresheners!
im using old car fresheners that i got from my sister while i helped clean her car. i chose to use black paint (you only need a small drop for this whole project) i took apart an old pukka shelled necklace to cover the new earring and im reusing some old earring posts. i originally was gunna make just the puka shell covered ones but when i first painted the "base" i really liked how it looked so i decided to make some just plain painted black ones!

on my second pair, i applied some regular ol' white glue. after i dipped the earring in my pukka shells and adjusted them a bit, i applied some clear nail polish on top and stuck both pairs on my window sill to dry.not quite sure if the nail polish would really do anything but i guess its worth a try! (its night time when i did this so thats why i put them there otherwise they'd be outside)
