Aint he cute? I think his name is Markus (with a k), it fits him.
I got the idea from a website (link above) but I didn't follow the directions, just looked at the main picture. Although I imagine the steps are mainly the same. But yeah, an Easter-y craft good all year long :)

  • Step 1

OK, so I think there is a pattern on her website, I am not sure. I traced the picture on her website of her peep and cut it out and used it as my pattern. So, get your pattern or make one by hand. Also try to make the ears even. Mine are slightly different. Cut out two bunny shapes using your pattern in your felt. Pin them together so they are even.

  • Step 2

Start sewing together the edges (? Could I use a better word?) and OH sew/glue your face pieces on now. I forgot to do that so I glued them on at the end. But of course, make your face pieces first. On her website it looked like she hole punched her face shapes. I just cut itty bitty circles from felt. So, sew or glue them on now. Then sew your edges together. Heh heh, leave a hole to stuff it.

  • Step 3

Now Stuff your bunny and sew that hole shut. Now onto the key chain loop. Cut a thin (1/2 inch) strip of felt for the loop it should be about one inch long. Fold it over so you have a loop and sew it in between the ears of the rabbit, well where in between the ears would be. Now you can put on the key chain ring. Try not to rip the loop off, like I almost did. Now you have an uber cute Candy peep key chain :) I am sure you will have lots of compliments. My older sister was complaining that I didn't make her one. Oh well, maybe I will need a bit more pre-Easter crafting ;)

I heart comments, and don't hesitate on any questions :)
