Basically, this idea just came to me. I know that this is June, but this is realy easy, really quick and I hope that you enjoy this! :) Thanks. By the way this is a great stocking stuffer!

Instructions

  1. Small 2012 06 09 21.05.34

    Gather your supplies!

  2. Small 2012 06 09 21.20.57

Tape over the areas where you want the pink to show. In this case I had 4 sections taped. Both ends and the 2 sections in the middle. I know that this pic is hard to see, but if you can see some of the shiny areas on the hair clip, that is where the tape does NOT go.

  3. Small 2012 06 09 21.24.21

Paint one coat over the whole front of the hair clip. Don't forget to paint over the outside of the hinge. And don't paint over the back unless you know that your tape is going to peel a ton of the original paint of of the hair pin.

  4. Small 2012 06 09 21.25.45

Wait 15 minutes for it to dry. After it is dry, re-paint over and spots of pink you might see. You might want wait a minute if you do. If you don't feel like waiting 15 minutes, you could dry it with a hair dryer. It'll take less than a minute.

  5. Small 2012 06 09 22.59.38

Take all the pieces of tape off and Voila! Now you have an adorable stocking stuffer! :D
