  • How to make a notebook journal. Calender Notebook - Step 1
    Step 1

Get some old calender. I used one of The Rasmus (a Finnish band) which I have in three-fold.

    Step 2

Cut out your shape. I used the package of tofu. The cardboard is not to sturdy and not to soft. Mine is 6cm high, the two outside lashes 3,5cm, the middle one 4cm, and the spines are 1cm.

    Step 3

Once you've decided which picture or motive you're going to use, measure the piece of cardboard and leave some pieces on the calender picture to fold over the sides.

    Step 4

Fasten the cardboard to the calender page with a glue stick.

    Step 5

Fold over the sides and glue them.

Now it should look like this

    Step 7

Cut out little pieces of scrap paper, that are slightly smaller then the outlines of your notebook.

    Step 8

Add some pages, which you can bind however you like, and glue to the back. You can also put something else at the other two insides, which I maybe will do later.
