something for my 'This took forever'-gift tag.
This project is admittedly evil.
Why? Because no matter what glue I use, I get these air bubbles under the glas after a time. This is deadly for photos! So take your time and all the patience you have. I new to redo every cabochon at least once.

Oh, and this is actually the christmas present for my aunt :) Hope she appreciates how I suffered. xD

  • How to make a cabochon bracelet. Cabochon Photo Bracelet - Step 1
    Step 1

Print out your aimed images in the size of the setting. I had to re-cut mine a little.

    Step 2

Glue them into the setting and DON'T USE TO MUCH GLUE! Only a little! Because otherwise the paper will get wet and that destroys the image.
Lots of danger here like I told you.

    Now the hardest part.
Drip a ball of glue in the center of the pic, then gently (!) press the cabochon on it. No rubbing or stuff! Just leave it alone then.

And after some time, you can look at it again. In the best case no bubbles are there then, but they might appear. In the worst case they're in a person's face.... and you have to start again.

You would probably have better results if you used photo paper, rather than copy paper! Also, you could print them off normally, then take them to a Staples, or Kinkos and have them laser printed, so the picture wont bleed. Its only a few cents per sheet last I looked, and it would work/look much better!

I went to the copyshop and it was laserprinted ;) and photo paper won't help me avoid bubbles... but thanks
