i'm a crazy button collector and started creating barettes like these when the box just got tooooo full. hehee

  1. Step 1

    so i started off with putting ribbon on the barette just to cover the metal up

  2. Step 2

    and instead of using ribbon i used fabric scraps and made a bow, sewing it together in the middle to keep it in tact. that gets hot glued to the barette


  3. Step 3

    the easier thing would be just to pin the button onto the bow, but i do that as well as add a lil bit of hot glue to keep it in a nice position.

    and waa-la!
