1. 

   

   Thread your button(s) through a piece of wire.
   
   It doesn't really matter which length, but the longer the wire, the less movement your charm will have, right?

2. 

   

   Keeping the pliers about 1 or 0.5cm from the ends of the wire, twist the buttons.

3. 

   

   It's sorta hard to see in the picture, but
   with the ends of the wire,
   wrap it through the jump ring,
   so that the wires cross over in different directions.

4. 

   

   Wrap the wires around a bit more, tucking/folding in the ends to prevent poking.
