  • Step 1

first collect ur material...n decide on the color of the paper n the object u want to stencil...
(i found this butterfly in a stenciling book my sis handed over to me)

also decide on how many panels u want to make n thier shape.

  • Step 2

i made six panels wid contrasting colors in square shape.here r the steps:

cut three squares from each color i.e. three black n three red.

  • Step 3

draw three butterflies in stencil format on each of the colored sheet..dis ill make 6 butter flies in total..

  • Step 4

now carefully cut each butterfly...if u r using this template..ull have six pieces for 1 butterfly...

  • Step 5

paste ur cut out stencilled b utterfly with the glue on the contrasting colored sheet.
in this case red square had black butterflies n black square had red butterflies

  • Step 6

now frame them n put them up on d wall...

TIP: it helps a lot if u cut n pate one butterfly at a time rather then cut for all the squares n then paste in the end..its hassle free.

  • Step 7

if u like it...make some n show me ur version ..i would love to see dem...thanks
    :)
