Made according to Claire's butterflies and fruit pleated tote tutorial - I'm so happy with it! The tut. was really simple to follow too.
I added a key clasp and put in a magnetic closure.
My inner fabric is Amy Butler, the outer is lightweight corduroy - maybe a little too lightweight. Next time I would reinforce the strap a little - either with an interfacing or just by stitching some rows down the center.
The buttons I made with a fabric covered button kit, some thrifted ties, and pin backs
