Burlap Grocery Tote

Cute way to recycle and make all of those plastic bags jealous.

It took me two tries and two burlap coffee bags, but im reallly proud of it.

Also I will make a detailed tutorial i enough people want one.

  1. Step 1

    cut out the pieces of your fabric in your prefered dimensions i reccomend 14 x 16 in.

  2. Step 2

    Sew the liner and burlap piece together. I reccomend double stiching it.

    repeat for other side


  3. Step 3

    sew pieces together inside out

  4. Step 4

    trim off excess fabric

    sew on handles


  5. Step 5

    turn rightsideout and parade around with your fantastic recycled bag

ha! I love this! I used to have a messenger bag style purse I made from a burlap bag of basmati rice. What is it about printed burlap??
