This is a Bunny Cake i made for Easter one year.
I used my Chocolate Cake Recipe
EAT AND ENJOY!
A great Easter or birthday cake!

  • Step 1

    Make two cakes in round 8inch tins.Leave to cool for a while before cutting or icing as a hot cake will melt the icing

  • Step 2

    Cut one cake into two ear shaped pieces. Place ears above other cake and ice both.
    I used Pink food coloring in the icing and made a pink bunny.

  • Step 3

  • Step 4

    Make the eyes with 2 marshmallows with smarties stuck to the top with a little bit of icing. Another smartie for the nose and musk sticks for whiskers, you can use liquorice if you want.

  • Step 5

    Cover the ears with marshmallows, having pink in the middle and white around the outside to look like ears. Make a smile for your Bunny with smarties.

  • Step 6

    A serving tray may be needed to place the cake on to decorate and serve, as you can see we needed a big board, as the bunny was quite big.
