Instructions

  1. Grill bacon until fairly crispy and leave to cool. Preheat oven to 190oc/gas mark 5

  2. Line baking sheet with baking paper

  3. Sieve flour & salt together into a large bowl & rub in the butter until it resembles fine breadcrumbs

  4. Cut bacon into small pieces & stir into flour mixture together with 50g of cheese

  5. In a small bowl, mix the milk, ketchup & Worcestershire sauce together & gradually mix into the flour mixture until it forms a rough ball of dough

  6. Roll out the pastry into a circle approx 18cm diameter, divide into 8 equal triangles

  7. Place of the prepared baking sheet

  8. Brush the top of each triangle with beaten egg

  9. Chop the pork Scratchings and mix with remaining cheese. Scatter pork scratching mixture onto the cakes

  10. Bake for 20 minutes
