a belt, a headband, a bracelet, anything

make them thick or thin, long or short

wear them as belts, as bracelets, ties, headbands, just about anything you want

  1. Step 0

    cut long pieces of yarn (long enough to fit around whatever it is you using it for with plenty of excess)

    the thicker you want the braid to be the more yarn you need

  2. Step 1

    gather together the yarn and tie a knot a couple inches from the edge (or more if you like it stringy at the end)

  3. Step 2

    tie that same end to something sturdy and begin braiding the yarn (you may also twixt it or do a belt weave)

    once it has reached your desired length tie another knot at the other end of the braid (once again you can make it stringy if you prefer)


  4. Step 3

    after completed you can trim the ends and wear as desired
