i used a cardboard base for mine, and added two tubes, because i have a lot of bracelets! i just put a few on for the picture, but i was so happy to see this project - i've been looking for a good way to keep mine organized for a long time. i cut the tubes from the inner tube from wrapping paper, then got glued them to the bottom piece. then, i cut different lengths of this super shiny silver duct tape i picked up from home depot recently =] it kind of reminds me of the smokestacks on the old factories i like to look at in the industrial part of town.
