I based this embroidery on a notebook cover that a friend gave me. Its stitched onto spotty yellow fat quarter. The trees are made up of lines of split-stitch and the owls are long and short. This took me a very long time, over a year between projects! I was so pleased with the finish project that I've decided to get it professionally framed. Can't wait until its hanging on my wall.
