sorry for no photos, but firstly i drew out my pattern.
i used
2 rectanlges with rounded edges
1 27cmx4cm strip
1 8cmx4cm
4 feet
2 arms
2 horns
2 larger horn shapes for a tail
1 box for the main plate
1 heart
1 red mouth piece
1 black mouth piece -
well i added all of the decoration onto the front first, including the arms, and the legs (i doubled the thickness of the legs to add strength) then i added the eyes and shanks

i then backstitched all of the creatin together, left a gap stuffed and restitched, and voila!!
