Body
Ch 2
Round 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook (6 sc)
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12 sc)
Round 3: Working in back loops only for this round, 1 sc in each stitch around (12 sc)
Round 4: 1 sc in each stitch around
Continue working round 4 until piece measures about 8 inches. Stuff.
Next round: Working in back loops only for this round, 1 sc in each stitch around (12 sc)
Last round: 1 dec over every 2 stitches (6 stitches).
Fasten off leaving long tail. With darning needle, weave through last stitches to pull closed and secure. Weave in end.
Shape so that both ends are fairly flat.

Legs:
Take 1 - 4 inch length of chenille and 1 - 2 inch length. Bend the 2 inch length in half and wrap one end of the longer piece around the middle. Attach to bottom of bowtruckle with other end.
Repeat for second leg.

Arms:
Take 1 - 3 inch length of chenille and 1 - 1.5 inch length. Bend the 1.5 inch length in half and wrap one end of the longer piece around the middle. Attach to side of bowtruckle with other end.
Repeat for second arm.

So the homework wasn't that hard! And here I was imagining that it was hard to label all the parts of a bowtruckle for Care of Magical Creatures. ;)
