• 

  Step 1

  having two materials of the same pattern (one for the bow and another for the band)

  for the peice of material to use as a bow the mesurments are 7cm vertically or width and 11cm horizontally

• 

  Step 3

  To check that your material is the right mesurement without cutting it yet put make a pinch in the middle and you will see what will be your bow shape, you can adjust from there and then cut it from the large material piece.

• 

  Step 4

  Taking a peice of a complimentry colour cut a strip 5cm in length. Using the thin strip fold tightly around the actual bow this will pull all the material to form a real bow shape.fold the strip very very tightly, and sew it at the back of the bow to be attached to it.

  Step 5

  Your bow is now done and should look like this.

  Step 6

  Next take the material you will use for your band approximatly 4-5cm wide and the length of how long you want it around your head

• 

  Step 7

  lay the material in a long line along your preffrably flat work area and fold twice to make what the image shows with the material flaps in the center, make sure this is consistant in the line

  Step 8

  Now take the two loose materials(the middle ones and hold them together now here you either chose to handsew or to use a machine, either way is good. (go to step 10 to for the macine instructions)

  Step 9

  for handsewing just start at the end and work your way through making sure you only sew togther the top of the band you do not want to sew through the entire thing.

  Step 10

  sew alond the top in a smaller than average stitching making sure you only sew togther the top of the band you do not want to sew through the entire thing.

  Step 11

  returning the sew part to the middle of the band on the viewing side it should look like this but its getting all tangly isn't it?

  Step 12

  Thats why you iron it for 3-5 minutes

• Step 13

  next sew your bow onto the ironed band.
