Bottle Cap Stampers

Recycle old bottle caps and make an awesome set of DIY stampers!

Use small bottle caps for small stamps and tin lids for huge ones!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    You'll need a bottle cap and a small piece of foam for each stamper you want to make.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Draw around the bottle cap on to a piece of paper, this will give you an idea of the space you have to work in.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Draw your stamp design inside the circle. The simpler you make the design, the easier it will be to make in to a stamp.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Cut out your design.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Draw around you design on to the foam, adding on the details.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Cut out the stamper design using scissors and an exacto knife for the details.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Glue the foam shape on to the bottle cap, get an ink pad and you're ready to start stamping!

These are awesome, especially since the plastic bottle caps are a huge trash problem - I don't have any foam, so instead of buying some I'm going to wait for a meat tray or produce packaging that's stryofoam and try with that. Very cool!
