@ sally- To flatten out the bottle caps I take a pair of pliers and pinch the edge and bend the edge up a little bit at a time working in a circle around the cap. You actually want the edge of the cap to slightly curl up, instead of being "flat" so that when it lays aginst your skin you dont get scratched. If this doesnt make sense let me know, I'll do a tutorial
