• 

  Step 1

  first you need a cool looking frame and an old book. i got both of these at a thrift store for under $3

• 

  Step 2

  trace the shape of the back of the frame onto a piece of paper and cut it out. you will be using this as a stencil to cut a hole in the book

• 

  Step 3

  then open the book and trace the shape of the paper onto the back of the cover. depending on the shape of the frame, you will need to pay close attention to what way you draw the image so the frame will fit from the front side.

  Step 4

  using an exacto knife, slowly cut out the shape. cut slightly outside the line so that the hole is big enough for the frame to fit through.

  Step 5

  put your photo in the frame. i used the leftover piece from the book to fill in the empty space that the back stand of the frame usually fills.

  Step 6

  this is what you have so far.

• 

  Step 7

  now place the frame in the hole and from the back side, glue it in place. i used hot glue because it filled in the spaces nicely and it dries clear in case any leaked through the front.

• 

  Step 8

  now glue the first page of the book onto the back of the cover so that you can't see the messy frame and glue. i only used a few small globs in case i want to change my photo, it will be easy to tear apart.

• 

  Step 9

  now you're done! display your photography anywhere in your house with your awesome new frame!

Great idea, universal appeal, cheap, simple, and excellent results. I would bet actual cash money that this is going to be a featured project.
