these are very simple to make and easy to wear, all you need is an old pair of scrubs or draw string pants.
I made a pink pair with hand patch and a blue pair

take your old pants, cut above the knee
now roll the ragged edge to where you like the length to be.
use the sewing machine to stich(gather the sides) -
for the hand patch:
trace your hand and cut out(using scrap fabric)
take a needle and some thread and handstich it onto the shorts
