Black Lace Choker

This is by far my favorite thing I've ever made
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

I bought some beautiful lace and found some old wine red ribbon the same width...so what else are you supposed to do other than sew them together and make a choker?

  1. Step 1

First, take your measuring tape and measure around your neck at the place you want your choker to sit, make sure not to make it too tight.

  2. Step 2

Then, cut both your ribbon and your lace to that measurement.

  3. Step 3

Sew the lace to the ribbon, making sure to line up the top of the lace with the top of the ribbon. However, my lace was kind of ruffled so I had some extra ribbon at the end - if yours is like this, don't worry. It worked a lot better for the 'clasp'

  4. Step 4

Now that you've got it all sewn on, sew on the two jewelry clasps, making sure that they don't fray the ribbon.

  5. Step 5

    And voila! You're done!
