I made these gift bags to spice up birthday presents for 2 seperate friends. I made them bigger than the book dimensions, which were only 10 x 15cm (it was supposed to be a phone case). The larger one is about 20 x 25cm and the other slightly smaller. I used the cord from an old pair of trousers, so they were pretty cheap to make. The flowers are cut out and sewed on with zig-zag stitch. I embellished the flowers with seed beads and long and short stitch, before I sewed it together.
