All the pencil cases I'd come across in shops were too small to fit everything I like to carry for school, so decided that making my own cute birdy pencil case was the way forward.

As you can probably see, the grass is painted on with acrylic paint, the birds are made from felt and are stitched on, I used sequins for stars and a button for the sun and hot glued on the wiggly eyes. Then lined the two halves, stiched them together and added a zip.
