Very easy project for beginner sewers like me :D

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Take the measurement of your shoulder to under your bust and mark it on your shirt.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Mark two halves on the lower part of the shirt. This will be the ribbon portion of the shrug.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Cut out the ribbon part from the shrug and cut the two halves.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Cut a v-neck that leaves a length that matches your ribbon length, so it will be even when you sew all the parts together.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Open the seam of the two ribbon parts and cut in the middle of your shrug.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Sew each ribbon on each side of the shrug.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Tie it in a pretty bow with the help of your scrap fabric :D
