blue berries and black berries make a purple

for a red or pink use raspberries or strawberries or lingon berries

  1. Step 1

    to make the dye.

    you need to gather the berries and mash them up.

    put them in a pan and boil them.

    once boiled, remove from the heat and simmer about 30 mins till cool.

  2. Step 2

    now mix some vinegar into the dye and mix well.

    let the mix settle.

    now you can use the dye.


  3. Step 3

    don't throw out those berries. You can make jam or tart toppings!
