  • How to make a leather cuff. Bejeweled Leather Bracelet - Step 1
    Step 1

Cut your leather wristlet into three pieces. Cut near snaps on both ends of the wristlet, leaving enough room for jump ring holes to be made at both ends of the leather. I had a double snap on one end of my leather and made the cut near the end of the second snap. If you have just one snap, cut near that one. The center piece of leather will be shortened into a length of approximately 3 ½”. Use a pointed tool like a nail or an awl to make two tiny holes near the snap ends of the leather. Now create matching holes in the remaining pieces of leather.

Color the leather using permanent marker. Paint a layer of Mod Podge over the colored leather and let the leather dry completely. Connect the leather pieces together using jump rings, pliers and short lengths of silver chain.

Select your gem stones and arrange them on top of the center leather length. Carefully glue all the pieces down using the E6000 glue. Use a q-tip to wipe away any errant glue. Let dry completely. I think this bracelet is a great way to dress up an outfit and is so fun to wear.
