  1. Step 1

    Step 1

First put a blowdry lotion through your hair. I used Paul Mitchell Relaxing Balm. Then spray the roots at the crown with a root pump. I used Kenra Root Lifting Spray. Then Turn your head over and Blowdry it with as much volume as possible. Frizz is okay and for the most part it doesnt have to be completely straight.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Then use your comb to section out your bangs and whatever fringe you want at your face and flat iron it. Leaving that out, take peices in mohawk like sections from the crown to the nape and tease the heck out of them.

    haha pardon my funny face!

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Now take a thin slice from the top of your head, adjacent to your bangs and leave that out. This will be used to smooth over you ratsnest ; )

Take the top half of hair and roll it back tucking the end in, like a loop. Secure that with a crisscross of 2 bobby pins.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Take the bottom section of hair, and do the same thing only roll it upwards. Leave some hair out at the nape.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Now look in a mirror and smooth the hair you left out over the hair thats pinned. its best to hold up sections and comb them before you lay them down. After you lay them down smooth them with your fingers only, a comb will mess them up.

you don't have to hide the pins either. just pull the hair back and pin it behind the bouffant.

Start with the middle top section behind your bangs and work your way around.
when your done you will look like a mod hottie.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Even you can rock a retro beehive : )

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    here's the back

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

it doesnt have to be prefect and you can play with it however you want : ) i took the nape section and rolled it under to hide the ends. i like mine to look crazy but if you want a smoother look you can do a french twist.
    Enjoy!

Wow, I really wanted to know how to do a beehive! But I don't think I have enough hair and I swear I can't do it by myself. That and I thought Beehives were more up.

you can make them higher, just tease it more and pin the first roll higher. i just like a heavy bang on my face and i don't like my hair too too big.

i'm really cheap when it comes to makeup lol. i wash my face with Acne free (and it actually works!) and then i use covergirl clean makeup. then physcians formula mineral face powder. i use physician's formula "natural glow" mineral blush.
the eyes i used a rimmel color trio and i think the name of the trio is linx. but its purple-ish browns. darkest color over the liner, middle color in the crease and the white color on the brow bone. and the liner i just free handed. and my mascara is Victoria secret.
: ) and thanks for the compliment! : )

If I hadn't just cut my hair into extreme layers I'd be doing this right now!! Looks gorgeous, I love vintage style hair do's. Used to rock victory rolls (think thats the right term) a lot :)

If I don't have those hair products can I use hairspray instead?

yea use the hairspray after you tease each section. but it's easier to style hair without having hairspray in it until you are done. because hairspray can make it too sticky
