Beadwoven Daisies made with seed beads and a needle & thread.
Cute little daisies made from tiny bead all sewn together, then the daisies are attached by pushing the head through a stem, just like a proper daisy chain.

    . Take an 8mm yellow round bead and a length of beading thread. Tie on the beading thread through the hole and wrap it round the bead and through the hole a couple of times. Exit out of the hole to start.

    Thread on one sz 11 white seed bead, then pass the thread under the thread around the bead.

    Continue until you have 6 beads around one half of the bead, hole to hole. Then push your needle through the hole to exit the other side.

    Thread through the bead hole twice to make a base for stringing on your next lot of beads, then thread through again and exit this time through the last white bead ready to begin again.

    Add 6 or 7 beads to the next side, so it fits comfortably. Exit out of any bead, ready for the next step.

    Thread on 13 beads, and missing out the next bead on the inner row, sew down through the next one.

    Sew up through the middle bead that you missed out and take your thread behind the loop you have just added. Add on 13 beads, and sew down into the next bead after the loop.

    Bring your needle up through the previous bead (this will have the first loop going into it) and repeat this pattern until you have a full flower.

    Exit one of the base bead around the yellow bead, and add on two green sz 11 seed beads.

    You can either make the Daisy Chain to fit without a clasp, or if you wish you could add a press-stud to each side at STEP 18.
