• 

  Step 1

  . Take an 8mm yellow round bead and a length of beading thread. Tie on the beading thread through the hole and wrap it round the bead and through the hole a couple of times. Exit out of the hole to start.

• 

  Step 2

  Thread on one sz 11 white seed bead, then pass the thread under the thread around the bead.

• 

  Step 3

  Thread back though the bead.
  This means the thread will wrap under the threads on the bead and hold the bead in place.

• 

  Step 4

  Add another bead in the same way. Continue until you have 6 beads around one half of the bead, hole to hole.

• 

  Step 5

  Continue until you have 6 beads around one half of the bead, hole to hole. Then push your needle through the hole to exit the other side.

• 

  Step 6

  Thread through the bead hole twice to make a base for stringing on your next lot of beads, then thread through again and exit this time through the last white bead ready to begin again.

• 

  Step 7

  Add 6 or 7 beads to the next side, so it fits comfortably. Exit out of any bead, ready for the next step.

• 

  Step 8

  Thread on 13 beads, and missing out the next bead on the inner row, sew down through the next one.

  Step 9

  Sew up through the middle bead that you missed out and take your thread behind the loop you have just added. Add on 13 beads, and sew down into the next bead after the loop.

• 

  Step 10

  Bring your needle up through the previous bead (this will have the first loop going into it) and repeat this pattern until you have a full flower.

• 

  Step 11

  Exit one of the base bead around the yellow bead, and add on two green sz 11 seed beads.

• 

  Step 12

  Missing out the next two base beads, sew down through the next.

• 

  Step 13

  Add another three sets of two beads in the same way.

• 

  Step 14

  Bring your needle up through the next green bead and add two bead in-between that one and the next. Repeat all the way round. This is Herringbone stitch.

• 

  Step 15

  Continue step 14 for 13 rounds.

• 

  Step 16

  Using only two sets of the four pairs of beads continue for 13 rows. (You will have to work your thread back up to the top to start each fresh row)

  Step 17

  Tie off your thread and rejoin it to sew 13 rows on the other two sets of beads.

• 

  Step 18

  . Bring the two sides together and work 5 rounds, thread your needle through the top beads to close the top, tie off your thread and trim.

• 

  Step 19

  Join the daisies by threading one through the stem of the next.

• 

  Step 20

  You can either make the Daisy Chain to fit without a clasp, or if you wish you could add a press-stud to each side at STEP 18.
