I was so trilled with sweet request of 7 years little one to create for her a couple little fun tops for a beach party.
A first one is a Diamond shape top with big crocheted flower on the center and featured flower applique and pearls sequins.
This top can be make with Topped corner; in ANY Square motif(s)/dolly pattern and any colors combination. Get a Fun!!
TO FIT: One size
ABBREVIATIONS:
sl st – slip st
sc - single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc –double crochet
tr – treble crochet
ch – chain

TOP.
Square motif: start from center of motif: ch 10; sl st in first ch to form ring. Continue work as follow (see
diagram). -
MAKE UP: With a right side of top join baby sport yarn in orange with sl st to first chain-5 space, ch1 and
work a ruffle around the top as follow :
Round 1: *(**1dc in next chain 5 space, ch1**, rep from **to ** 6 times more in the same chain space), 1
sc in the next chain 5 space* repeat from* to* all around, sl st in first ch1.
Round 2: ch1, 1sc in the chain-1 space, *ch3, 1sc in the next chain 1 space* rep from*, 1sc. Fasten off.
Crochet (or sew ribbon) neck and sides straps, sew a flower appliqué and peal sequins.
Weave in all ends.
