Batik Scraps

  • Completed Project: Batik Scraps Picture #1

recycled scraps into insulated curtain.

This is my bathroom "curtain." I made it out of mostly batik scraps from my local REstore. I then bought new batik look fabric to finish the top. I also found insulation fabric at the REstore for $3.50 a yard(usually$16.00). It was assembled like a quilt but I hardly "quilted" it since the more air, the more insulating. I hang it with a cafe rod and I have hooks for the window, and the wall. I just move it (to the wall)in the morning to enjoy sunshine.
