Batik Buddha

  • Completed Project: Batik Buddha Picture #1

Tie dye and Batik Buddha Hanging

This is a wall hanging that I made from doing a first layer of an outline shape of a Buddha and then went back and batik-ed the details.
I used basic tie dye techniques to make the basic shape. I used Faux Batik - I forget the name of it but you can get this stuff on Joggles.com. It's not wax, more like a glue and works great. No mess no fuss, it just washes out.
I'll be posting more tie dye and shibori techniques on here soon.
Any Q's please ask!
