1. 

   First thing you have to do is choose the colour you want your heart, wings and any embellishments (ex. the bandaid on mine) to be. Then cut out 2 hearts form the felt you chose, making sure the bottom is not to rounded or i will look funny when you turn it right side out at the end.

   Next choose how you want the wings to look. I had about 5 different designs but then decided on this one. Cut those out as well as any decoration you want to put on it.

   Put the 2 heart pieces together (good sides facing each other) and, starting at the top left of the heart, sew counter clockwise around it. Stop when you get to the spot where you want your first wing to be. Place the wing on top of the heart (not in between the pieces) and point the end of the wing in towards the middle of the heart, not to the outside where it would usually point and continue sewing.

   Stop again on the other side and add the other wing.

   When you get close to the spot in the middle top of the heart where it narrows and comes down, stop sewing. Grab your yarn and cut either 3 or 9 pieces off, depending on how fat you want the loop to be. Braid the 3 starnds together and knot them. If you are using 9 strands, braid 3 strands together and then braid the braids together and knot them.

6. 

   Put the loop in between your fabric at the top of the heart, with the knot above the seam and the loop inside, and sew until it is secure. I usually put a little glue in just to make sure it's secure.

7. 

   You should now have a gap between the middle of the heart and the top left of the heart. Use this space to flip the heart right side out.

8. 

   You can now sew on a bandaid for your heart or whatever using the hole you used to flip it right side out.

9. 

   Stuff the heart and sew up the hole. Attach it to a bag and you're ready to go!
