Bananagram Magnets!
After Nick and I received a giant banana in our Christmas stocking, it got me thinking... What could I do with this banana?
But keep in mind, it was no ordinary banana... It was Bananagrams!
For those of you who aren't familiar, Bananagrams are much like Scrabble without the board. Basically, you just get a bunch of letters. So I, being my crafty self, came up with a plan...
So I made Bananagram magnets for my fridge. Now Nick and I send each other little messages via the refrigerator. So here's how I did it:

  • How to make a letter magnet. Bananagram Magnets - Step 1
    Step 1

    You'll need:
    1 pack of bananagrams
    1 long magnet strip
    1 pair of scissors

Next, cut off a small piece of your magnet strip to fit the back of each letter.

Then, post a message on your refrigerator!
Pretty easy! I wouldn't recommend them for holding up anything on the fridge--the magnets aren't strong enough. But it's a fun project nonetheless... and you'd be surprised how much we use it.

I did the same with Scrabble! It takes up the whole freezer door. =)
