DIY Banana Lip Balm

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Gather ingredients.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Melt beeswax in double boiler.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Add almond oil (almost the equal to amount of beeswax). Then add small amounts of coconut oil and shea butter. Stir and melt. Add a few drops of essential oil and vitmain E. It's ready to pour.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Pour into little containers. (It looks orange because this pic is tangerine flavored and not banana)


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Let mix cool and apply to lips!!

Yummy! That makes me hungry :) I just applied some lip balm (bought, not diy) and realized there's not much left, so now's the perfect time to make me some of this! Where did you buy the ingredients?

most of the ingredients came from whole foods except for the beeswax and the little containers. beeswax came from local arts and crafts store and containers I ordered online.

just add the banana essential oil last. not real bananas. not sure of substitutions.
