DIY Banana Lip Balm

    Gather ingredients.

    Melt beeswax in double boiler.

    Step 3

    Add almond oil (almost the equal to amount of beeswax). Then add small amounts of coconut oil and shea butter. Stir and melt. Add a few drops of essential oil and vitmain E. It's ready to pour.

    Pour into little containers. (It looks orange because this pic is tangerine flavored and not banana)

    Let mix cool and apply to lips!!

hey! i love this soooo much, in fact my bf and i decided to start making crafts and selling em at our craft fair-ish thing here and i just wanted to know how do you know if the oils you buy are safe to put on your lips? do i have to buy like those "cooking" flavored oils or do just any oils work? i just want to be safe. just add the banana essential oil last. not real bananas. not sure of substitutions.

I bought most of the ingredients at Whole Foods and my local craft store! Good luck! I'm probably going to make some tonight as well!
