Milkshake Bar
Of all the milkshakes in this book that my recipe tasters tested, this one came out on top. I was even asked to make seconds! Rich caramel banana milk – this drink is a must for banana lovers. If you are not able to find banana ice cream, you can substitute vanilla ice cream for equally delicious results.

  • Step 1

Spoon 1 tablespoon of the caramel sauce into each glass and
swirl the glass until there is a thin coating of caramel sauce over
the bottom half of the glass. This will give a pretty two tone
effect when the milkshake is poured in. Put the bananas in a blender with the milk, 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, two scoops of the ice cream and the food colouring, if using, and whizz until very foamy and thick.

  • Step 2

Pour the milkshake into chilled glasses and top with a second scoop of ice cream. Decorate each glass with a dried banana chip and a drizzle of caramel sauce and serve immediately
    with straws.
