Bacon Cake

This might be the best cake I've ever made.
It's a shame that I only got this photo before the cake was eaten. I was so happy with how it turned out. My cousin had been joking about wanting a bacon birthday cake for years so this year I made her one. It went down so well & I was surprised at just how easy it was to make. I baked a chocolate cake, covered it in chocolate buttercream & then used regal icing to make the strips of bacon. My cousin managed to get a photo to put on facebook before everyone cut themselves a slice & people thought it was actually bacon!
