Gothic Punk Blue mohawk
+ Shave the sides of your head! *gasp* (Possibly the most tricky and daring part...) This will take about 15 mins if you get a friend to help. Give yourself plenty more time if you're doing it yourself. It's always easiest to do yourself if it's already been done once.

+ Bleach the middle then dye your chosen colour (BLUE!) This will take about an hour in all.

+ Backcomb the roots and use strong hair putty to keep it solid. It only takes 2 minutes to do.

+ Tip your head upside-down and use hairspray ALL over your hair. Being upside-down as it dries (plus the use of a hairdryer if you're impatient) will keep the mohawk high and straight. Out of all the mohawk tips I've had THIS is the best! It will take a good half an hour to do at first, but be patient and you'll get better and better at it and be able to do it in record time ;-)

+ Use a bit of hair gel at the tips to spike out individual tufts of hair.

+ Do ya makeup, add a few chains, whack in your piercings (if you have any) and VOILA! I've said 1 hour 45 mins for it to be done, but if you're just starting then allow yourself about 2 hours getting ready!
