1/2 tsp baking soda and water, scoon onto a clean tooth brush and gentley bush your teethfor about 5 mintutes, rinse your mouth with clean water.
warning, it tastes gross but it works.

Yeah, I do this sometimes but I mix my baking soda with peroxide to a paste consistency, it does lighten up to a few shades. Doing this too much will make your teeth sensitive and really not good for the enamel, so doing this once or twice a month is about right and still way cheaper than the store bought stuff.

Yea this is something my dad taught me since we both like tea and tea stains teeth.
I use a little salt too occasionally or like one poster said, a little hydrogen Peroxide. Makes it feel like the cleanest mouth EVER. Really effective when you want a clean mouth but no minty taste like before eating or before you kiss someone and don't want them to know you freshened up.
