Asymmetrical pirate gypse shirt
This shirt was inspired by pirate/gypse fashion. I wanted to create an outfit based on pirates (obsession). And this is what I created. The entire pattern was self drafted. If you know how to create a shirt pattern this will be easier to make. 1st just draw out the pattern the on to some pattern paper, (be sure to create a square neck for the front and back of your shirt pieces) add enough length to the front so that it goes down to the length of about the crotch area, and do the same for the back piece so that Orr can cover the butt. Mark where you want the shirred area to be (I chose the entire waist length. Shirt each side (front/back) before sewing them together. Next the sleeves. The sleeves should be normally done fitted near the top an as it gets to mid forearm add a bell sleeve. Shirr the area where the fitted part of the sleeve meets the bell part of the sleeves.(I did three small rows on each sleeve) then sew the sleeve seams up and connect them to your shirt. Shirr around the neck squared line as well. Hem that baby up and your done.
