Oh man. I made an Ash costume about 2 years ago and I keep it in my closet and any time I need a costume there it is. I just used a blue vest and sewed on white sleeves and collar. I took a red ball cap and just tacked some white fabric on the front and used black fabric paint for the symbol. I just wear jeans with it and tote my pikachu doll and pokeballs about.
