  • Step 1

Peel the label off of an old tomato sauce Jar.

  • Step 2

Using an old Art Magazine (I used Juxtapoz art and Culture Magazine) find an interesting featured artist. Cut the artwork into rectangles and squares of various sizes. If you have access to a cutting board use it. Otherwise use scissors.

  • Step 3

Cover the back of your rectangular/square images with a coat of Mod Podge for paper. Stick the images on the jar and apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to the magazine cutout as you go.

  • Step 4

After you have covered the entire outside of the Jar with cutouts give it one more coat of Mod Podge. As you apply the last coat flatten out any bumps or air bubbles with your paint brush.

  • Step 5

Paint Jar lid with acrylic paint of your choice.

  • Step 6

Allow the lid and Jar to Dry.

  • Step 7

Use for change or various items.
