Appliqued "Uggs"

Appliqued "Uggs"
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

I bought some fake Uggs from Costco($40) and decided to sew patches and buttons onto them. I wore them in the rain one too many times and the back part got ruined. So I covered the back part with fabric. First I glued the fabric down then I sewed the edges down(Needless to say my fingers hurt like hell afterwards). I also wrote "live" and "love" on the back part of the sole in Sharpie when I was bored in class one day.

I love these! I'm normally not a fan of the tall uggs, but these are just too cute. I especially like the fabric covering on the back of the shoe. I can only imagine how hard it muse have been to sew through the boot!

How CUTE are THOSE?! I love them! You know what? I'm actually going to shut down the computer RIGHT now and run to the thrift store before class. I'm in a college town so they tend to show up at Sally's Boutiques (Salvation Army Thrift Stores). Gonna get me some Faux-Uggs!
