Step 1
Choose fabric and purchase tea towels.
Design or print cupcake pattern.
Cut out and apply it to the fabric.
Sew around edges of fabric onto the tea towel.

I made these cupcake appliqué tea towels for my 21st birthday, which was a cupcake theme. I bought the tea towels from a store and the fabric separately and then printed off or created my own cupcake design patterns which I cut out and outlined onto the fabric. You then sew around the edges of the fabric onto the tea towel.
