Pretty Easy
Description

See more DIY on my blog! I always look through the site and find myself thinking, “I could totally do that!” but I just never get around to buying a base cardigan, shirt, or dress. Think of all the cheap sweaters at Forever 21 or H&M that you can decorate!

Instructions
  1. 1
    Step 1

First you need to cut out petals from a fabric that will not fray. Or if you want to use a fabric that is not a natural fiber, you can burn the edges to make a more organic look. I used a little velveteen feeling fabric that I upcycled from an old skirt from a thrift store.

  2. 2
    Step 2

Next you need to organize the petals in the place that you want to put them on the cardigan before you glue them down.

  3. 3
    Step 3

Next you need to glue the petals into place! I used Aleene’s fabric glue— it works great and you can wash it! Don’t get the glue in places that it will show, though.

  4. 4

After the glue is dry, you can sew the beads into place. I used about 5 beads per flower. Sew them securely into place and you have your Anthropologie-esque sweater!
