I was inspired by Maegan of Love Maegan who instead of splashing out on shoes with chains simply wrapped some old chunky necklaces around her ankles and transformed an existing pair of shoes. I didn't happen to have any chunky necklaces lying around but with the purchase of thick chain, jumps rings, and clasps I had all the stuff I needed to make my own ankle chains.

I made two that wrap around my ankle twice and two that wrap around once.
