   Take your shoes and assemble all your supplies.

   Stuff the feet end with your scrap paper.

   Sketch out what you're going to do - pick your animal. Decide on rounded/square ears. Where the eyes and nose will go.

   Cut out your ear pieces.

   Two large felt pieces and two smaller inner pieces. I used white vinyl but you could use felt.

   Pin them to the shoes to see where they will lay.

   Pin the face part on. This was the most tricky step to get the pieces around the curve of the shoe. I glued the bottom part around first and later trimmed the edge that was pointing down in the front.

   Glue all the pieces down. For the ears only glue down a small section at the bottom.

   Cover the front with a black felt nose and I used a pen to put the whisker parts on.

   I put the pins in to mark where the eyes would go.

   Cut out double circles for the eyes and and glue them down.

   Wear your shoes!
